The hotel was perfect, and the location was great with an outstanding view from the rooftop. The beds are not the most comfortable, but we were exhausted after a whole day of visiting the city so fell asleep with no problem. The service is excellent and the breakfast is A+ the first day we went to the city to get breakfast there and we end up paying almost $10 for one coffee and a croissant, the $10 you pay at the hotel for a full breakfast are well worth it. The hotel is up in the mountain, you can get to Amalfi Port either by ferry or bus from Salerno port or train station (both very close to each other). We walked up the road and stairs to the hotel with our luggage, not recommended though, you can take a taxi for about $20, but without luggage it’s a little hike but it was great for burning all the calories from the gelato. We took a private transfer back to the train station in Salerno offered by the hotel, $60 if paid in cash, also well worth it, the bus from Salerno train station to Amalfi port was only $5 for the two of us, but it was very long and uncomfortable.
You can take another 30 minutes ferry for $10 to Positano, beautiful places, we’ll come back and stay at Bellevue again. Definitely recommended
