Rooms were dusty, very dated, check in was abysmal, only four staff for a lot of people. Resort fee is a rip off. Tropics Bar food substandard. All in all a disappointing experience for a supposedly renowned establishment.

We stay here once to twice per year however this stay was pretty terrible. We booked a coastal view room in the Ali’i tower which are located right by the elevators (even though this isn’t mentioned on the site). The noise from the lifts and more so the guests waiting for lifts, impacted our sleep terribly… waking us up constantly throughout the night and at 5.30am every morning as guests were departing for flights. We asked to change rooms and they advised that all coastal view (partial ocean view) are located near there, they offered to move us to a resort view which we would have happily accepted IF they would refund / provide a resort credit for the difference in what was paid but this wasn’t possible. Really disappointing- as mentioned we stay at this resort regularly however this has left us to consider other resorts for our next visit. The customer service here was fab before covid. Since then they’ve really dropped the ball.
