Perfect location for walking to restaurants and attractions. We had a ground floor lake view room with a picnic table out the front and nice views of Lake Tekapo. I think the view from the upper level rooms would be block by the solid railings. Older style rooms, but comfortable and clean. Would happily stay here again.

It was a pretty dated property and being on bottom floor you could hear people upstairs all night and being right near the stairs didn’t help either.

Proximity to the lake and church is great. Unfortunately weather was not good so could not see Mt Cook.

I was disappointed with this hotel. Location was good so was the customer service but the room was not good at all. Carpet was old and the floor squeaked when walking on them. The bathroom was far too small and dangerous to step in or out. My husband almost slipped even when using that suction rubber mat which looked dirty. Our fridge was turned off the second day spoiling our food we had. We mentioned this at reception but we were only offered an apology but no offer to replace our food items.
