The property itself is nice, but the road construction in front of it makes it difficult to get in and out with luggage and makes the parking lot next door inaccessible without walking all the way around the block. The only problem with the room was that it was hot and the a/c did not cool it down enough to sleep comfortably until around 4 am.

I have spent four years in hotels living in one city and working in another. This would be by far the worst place I have stayed in for comfort. Customer service was excellent, cleanliness great and shower amazing. That is where it ended. I think the concept of automatic lights is an excellent one for sustainability. I managed to get 3 hours sleep in this facility. The bed seemed to be one of those old fashioned ones where the springs poke you in the back, that they did. There was not anti-roll and my partner is 30ks heavier than I so I ended up rolling into his back. To avoid this I lay on the edge of the soft bed where the springs poked into my side. When I got hot (we couldn't reduce the aircon below 18 degrees and it felt like 24 degrees in the room) and put my leg of the sheet and the bathroom light turned on as on a sensor. This happened a number of times I moved in the bed as well as the TV turning on itself twice???? At 3am I gave up on the bed and grabbed my sleeping bag. I had just done a 3-night hike sleeping in DOC huts which were far more comfortable than this bed. I positioned myself on the floor which was far more comfortable than the bed. However every time I moved one of the lights would come on lighting up the room. At 4am I hopped back into bed and top and tailed with my partner which seemed to work other than the heat in the room. I am one of those people that posts positive reviews so this had to be super bad for me to rant as much as I have.

Excellent budget option. Super comfortable and nicely finished. Fantastic showers and great location. Would definitely stay again. Good to note- Wifi is as very patchy and the free coffee machines are a great idea but were largely empty apart from a super weak filter coffee with no milk or sugar so best avoid.

The rooms are clean and tidy. They are very small - the shower and toilet open right out into the room. No space to get changed privately when showering so def don’t share with someone you aren’t completely comfortable with!

I enjoyed the friendly receptionist Gordon. He was always there and happy to help with ideas on what to do and where to eat. My only complaint was not having tea&coffee with kettle in the room. I found it very inconvenient to have to dress and go the dispenser. Great stay otherwise. Thank you.
