At some point in time this place may have been nice but now it's a bit of a dump. Security lights are broken, paint has faded, all just a bit sad. The reception wasn't very friendly & was difficult to understand.

The staff were super friendly. The unit we had was super clean. It also was quiet, considering it was close to the main road. Plenty of hot water. The food at the restaurant was hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. The steak was melt in the mouth, and the fish was cooked in a very creamy tasty sauce. Will come back again. Thanks to all staff.

Bathroom wasnt very clean. Seal.on shower door was damaged so water poured over the floor. There was no vanity in the bathroom. The vanity was in the miniscule kitchenette. This also served as the dishwashing area - with a plastic bowl provided to put in to the vanity for dishes. I found that unsatisfactory and potentially unhygenic. The bed was clean and comfortable but i will.not use this.motel again

Average to below average facilities (old - needs desperate make over! Especially the rooms). Bar service was poor at times. Front desk (reception) communication was awful due to extremely poor English speaking ability! Turangi was not very exciting. Won't recommend this Motel unless you're happy with below average accommodation (rooms especially). Beef and Chicken burgers were fantastic - well done. Room service was a bonus - thank you.
