The hotel grounds are beautiful, pools area is probably one of the best I’ve been to. Bed was very comfortable. Got a free upgrade which was nice. Staff are pleasant. The disappointing this about this hotel is that they put a charge on everything you use, so all the extra services they offer like fitness classes, cultural classes, salt water lagoon, pool seats, and other activities have an extra charge. Most hotels include these services in the hotel fee but here they add on an extra charge for everything. Beware of the resort fee which is added on top of your room charge $52USD per night (for classes, lagoon, internet - we never even used these but still got charged for it) and that doesn’t include car parking which is an extra $33USD per day. Could’ve booked a different 5 star hotel minus all the extra fees. Furthermore, when we arrived the shower still had soap scum on the floor. Would’ve expected more from a hotel like this.
