Clean, safe, family friendly camp with a pool and playground loved by the kids. Easy walk to town, including another huge playground. We stayed in a family cabin which was as expected for a cabin in terms of condition and amenities. Lovely solid bunks that dont move around when the kids climb to the top. Only suggestion would be to add a blind to the bathroom windows - they are frosted but its not that effective with the lights on

Friendly and approachable staff. Must check-in before 1830 hours or to prearrange if check-in is after 1830 hours. A small 2-bedroom cabin with limited amenities. We were given each 12gb Wifi which is very generous. Very near to the town centre.

Handy Accommodation

Pros: open and bright
Cons: some more house keeping. Quite a few cobwebs in the windows inside. And we got invaded with ants in our cereal :(
Location: Good location, set back off road so no traffic noise. Walking distance to town, wharf and beach
Had a Harley Davidson get together call 'The Gathering". two days of excitement with bands and rides. Staying here mean't our bikes were safe and we were in walking distance.

Just Great!

Cons: Pool hours.
Great, Clean well set out camp ground. Check in was easy! We stayed in a cabin and was impressed. nothing was a mis. Only down side would be the brats in the pool 24/7 and it closing at 7pm in summer which we found far to early. most of the time your out and about and wouldnt mind a soak in the pool but it closed far to early. Maybe adults only from 6-9pm? which would reduce the noise after 7pm.

Very quite place to stay

Pros: It was really quite and peaceful the night we stayed.
Location: We went to the hot water beach in the evening and soaked in the hot water for an hour. Highly recommend it. Also checked out Cathedral Cove.
Stayed one night, Was quite and peaceful. Staff provided shovels for the hot water beach.

Unfortunately we were in whitianga for a memorial service for a relation so didn't get to use the amenities or visit the beach therefore can't comment on that. We had a two bedroom unit which was in need of a makeover otherwise good for what we needed.

Great Spot

Fantastic little unit, loved that it was self contained. Close to the Whitianga town centre and beaches. Lovely friendly staff in check in and out. Well done guys

Good positioned holiday park

Pros: Closeness to the town and beach
Cons: Free wi fi especially with the price they were charging
Location: Shops and restaurants and beach nearby
It was a lovely holiday park with friendly staff, close to the town centre and shops and beach. The cabin was nice, although parts of it a little tired. The bedrooms were quite small ( I couldn't get my travel cot in either bedroom!) and I don't think some of the bedding had been washed between visitors. Plus our cabin was right next to the camper van chemical dump site and fish cleaning that with the windows open gave off a horrible smell...
