Backed by bush reserve, yet only a short stroll into town. Comfortable, quality, super king, twin and queen beds all three rooms have private bathrooms and are furnished with New Zealand antique timber furniture. The home is harmoniously decorated. You have a guest sitting room, with large windows with great views, persian rugs, antique furniture,fridge,microwave,cutlery and croquery if you wish to bring back a take away,or prepare a snack. We have a good library,internet access and laptop to check your email. The guest sitting room has high ceilings and chandeliers, and NZ paintings sofa's, table and chairs. Upstairs,enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony at watch the sun setting over wonderful views.

All within easy walking distance. Centre of New Zealand behind Woodsy, river walks, Queens Botanical Gardens and The Suter Gallery with its restaurant overlooking the lake. Founders Heritage Park, Myazu Japanese Gardens and of course the City of Nelson with its abundance of high quality restaurants and craft shops & galleries. For the more sporting there are quite a few tramps nearby, kayacking and a fatastic town beach that goes on for kilometres. The Museum of Wearable Arts and Motor Museum is well worth a look.Spend a day or half a day at the local winneries, wine tasting and enjoying good food. Visit Abel Tasman only 40 minutes away, a take a water taxi and do a walk of 2 or four hours, the choice is yours. Enjoy the waterfront and its resetraunts. If yo can get to the famous Sturday Nelson market with all its local crafts, art, food and much much more to get a real taste of Nelson.
