UNLIKE MOST OF THE PLACES IN YOUR SEARCH RESULTS..... WE ARE IN THE MOUNT COOK VILLAGE!! YES NOT 65KM OR 110KM DRIVE AWAY OR 8 HOURS AWAY ON THE WEST COAST. THERE ARE ACTUALLY ONLY 3 DIFFERENT ACCOMMODATION PROVIDERS IN THE ACTUAL VILLAGE AND WE ARE ONE OF THEM. DON'T BE FOOLED. Sixteen room family run lodge accommodation in the heart of Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. All front rooms have views of Mt Cook itself along with a stunning panorama of peaks and glaciers. We have 4 family rooms with either queen or king bed plus bunks, 8 king or twin bed rooms, 2 studio rooms with kitchenette and own deck with huge ranch slider windows and one 4 bed bunkroom. The lodge has a fully equipped self catering kitchen with adjoining dining and lounge area for guest use. Complimentary tea & coffee is available 24hrs from the kitchen. The lounge has lots of comfy couches and a cosy fire place for the cooler times. The views from this room are the best in the village.

Go Helibiking and take a helicopter scenic flight with a glacier landing as part of the price. Its easy riding and finish up with a tour on a working high country sheep station.

Two brand new visitor centres within a stones throw of the Lodge. The Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre is a newly opened museum, planetarium and 3D movie theatre. This is a phenomenal visitor attraction and a fabulous tribute to a great human being. There is also the new Mt Cook Visitor centre. This is another phenomenal attraction with loads of interpretation of the Mt Cook National Park and its awesome environment.
