The Bali Hai Motel is located on the edge of Paihia overlooking the Bay of Islands towards Opua Harbour. All our rooms have been refurbished to 4 Star Plus quality and we have an Enviromental Award - Bronze. Our quiet location offers spacious grounds and sea and rural views from your balcony. We offer free WiFi from all the rooms and undercover parking. We aim to make your stay with us in the Bay of Islands the best that you will experience. We are small enough to be personal with only 9 units - spacious 1 & 2 bedroom units with separate lounges, as well as 3 studios. Take a short stroll down to Te Haumi beach and explore the coastal walkways. Walk over the hill or around the coast to Paihia township where there are cafes, shops and the wharf. Tours pick you up at the door to Cape Reinga and cruises around the beautiful Bay of Islands. Why not also take a ferry to historic Russell or visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds during your stay. Te Haumi beach is 200m away and Paihia town only 1.
