Bassingers Motor Lodge in Levin offers superior accommodation for the discerning traveller, business person, families and groups alike at affordable prices.
We provide the best service, cleanliness and quality motel facilities. There are 10 very spacious ground floor, studios, one bedroom and two bedroom suites, plus 2 studios’ upstairs. Six suites have king, queen or twin beds - all with lovely spa baths. Our Studios have queen or twin beds. Studios with access facilities are also available.
Our Motor Lodge is conveniently located only 500m to town centre, restaurants, takeaways and clubs , 75min/94km to Interisland Ferry Terminal and airport and 55km to Palmerston North.

Just 75 minutes drive from Wellington and 55 minutes from Palmerston North, Levin is a wonderful place to visit.
Less than 10 kms to the ever popular Waitarere and Hokio beaches for fishing, boating, swimming. It’s about the same distance to the Tararua Forest park for tramping, hunting and picnics etc.
There are plenty of factory outlet shops, clothing e.g. Swazi and the lovely tasty chocolate factory shop.
Levin has plenty of restaurants, clubs and hotels for wining and dining. Plus all the usual takeaway outlets.
A short drive southwards to the car museum is a must and how about a round of golf?
It’s only about 4 kms to Lake Horowhenua for boating picnics etc. Or Owlcatraz (native bird and wildlife park).
Levin has an indoor swimming complex and just opened is the new cinema and cafe.
