Private, charming, stylish architecturally designed B&B accommodation furnished with genuine antiques and original art works, magical setting with wonderful views through the tree filled Riverside Park down to the Waikato River. Boat ramp, bush walks and little sandy beaches alongside the river, waterfall and huge trout awaiting keen fishermen. Very central location in the North Island with easy access out onto state highway 1 for day trips; about an hour to Tauranga/Mt Maunganui, Raglan and Rotorua, 1 1/2 to Taupo and Auckland and the Coromandel, 1 hour to Waitomo Caves, 30 minutes' to Hobbiton where The Lord of The Rings is being filmed near Matamata and only 6 minutes' drive out to Lake Karapiro location for The World Rowing in 2010. Maungatautari Mountain is another 5 minutes drive beyond Lake Karapiro, wonderful ecological reserve with bush walks and our native Kiwi bird,.....

In the summer be entertained by cricket on the Village Green, you may even discover our hidden jewel nearby, Lake Te Koutu!?
