We are a small and friendly Napier motel located in the heart of the city where you will be assured of a clean, warm, affordable and comfortable stay. Our Napier motel is within easy walking distance to the bus depot, cinema, theatre, restaurants, shops and Marine Parade. It is also within one kilometre of the War Memorial Centre, McLean Park and Centennial Hall. Stay at City Close Motel and enjoy a lovely walk along a delightful ocean setting, engage in some of the local attractions and activities, or just relax in the friendly atmosphere at our Napier motel. We offer our courtesy car to and from the airport & travel centre by arrangement. We pride ourselves on a management style which reflects a genuine desire to assist.

- Had a LCD TV
- no door on bathroom shower and bath room looked very outdated. Parking was first in first served other wise you paked on the street.
- Close to supermarkets. Person who checked us in can learn a little politness with customers.
Shaun, you stayed 1 night with us at a peak time - Mission Concert. We can't understand your comments as all our units have sliding door to bathroom, sliding door to toilet and shower curtain on the showers. We are an older type motel but we are updating as funds allow. We have parking spaces for all units plus extra at the back. The person who booked you in is mystified by your comments also she felt all was happy and friendly and she happily organised a seat for you on a bus to the concert
