Fully self contained modern apartments nestled in a garden setting with trees that almost hug you, native birds and sea views. The Garden Suite has ensuite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen for self catering, a super king size bed, or two king size singles, T.V. insect screens and laundry. The Tree House has ensuite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen for self catering, super king size bed, T.V. and insect screens. Guests have access to the laundry at the main house. Both apartments have been newly decorated to reflect the natural colours of the surroundings. The hosts are avid gardeners combining the native ferns and trees with a tropical English type garden. If you are a gardener you will love this setting. Safe off street parking, with seperate private entrances, all within a five minute stroll to the beach, restaurants and town centre. The apartments are non smoking, but guests are welcome to smoke outside on the decks.

Paihia often referred to as the " Jewel of the Bay of Islands " was the first centre of European settlement in New Zealand. Today Paihia is a very popular tourist destination. It is a good starting point for the many and varied trips and adventures whether it be extreme adventure , or more sedate activities. Enjoy an all-day scenic cruise to the famous Hole in the Rock, sail, take a fast boat ride, ride a jet ski,experience some of the best diving in the world, swim with the dolphins or charter a yacht for a day or more. Take a scenic flight or sky dive. Play golf, take a trip to Cape Reinga, go kayaking, horse trekking or quad bike riding. Coastal walks and forest walks will take you to some fabulous scenery. Waitangi is the Birthplace of our nation where the Traty of Waitangi was signed. A visit to the Treaty House and grounds is a must. The views across the Bay and to Russell are superb. A short ferry trip takes tourists to Russell. For those who enjoy shopping Kerikeri is a short drive away. The famous Stone Store is situated in the Kerikeri Basin alongside the Kerikeri Mission House and Rewa's village, a replica pre European Maori fishing village.. Kerikeri is also rich in art and culture with a number of galleries to visit.
