Driftwood is situated on the beautiful Te Horo Beachfront with Kapiti Island and the Tararua Ranges as a back drop. Just 1 hour drive from Wellington to the South and Palmerston North to the North, the location is convenient for tourists heading to the South Island or enroute to Lake Taupo and the ski fields.
Driftwood has accommodation for four people in either the king sea room with ensuite, central heating, tea/coffee facilities and quality furnishings, or the hideaway twin king room with separate bathroom and spacious living area and all amenities. Two lounges with stunning views, TV/music system, Yamaha grand piano and books make for a relaxing environment. The landscaped garden includes a hot jacuzzi and patio seating. Breakfast is a specialty - organic and home baked delicacies with fresh local produce are standard fare.
Te Horo is close to the outlet shops of Otaki with its local museum and early history, the cafes and art galleries of Waikanae and the Kapiti region, plus world renowned Southward Car Museum, the Nga Manu Nature Reserve and much much more.
