Opened in 2001 this Small Luxury Hotel of the World contains five beautifully appointed spacious suites while our Lakefront Apartments contain another four suites designed with couples or families in mind. Both properties are situated directly on the lakefront with stunning views of Queenstown Bay and the mountains beyond.
The historic hotel reflects contemporary provincial elegance, its modern features in perfect harmony with the distinctive antiques and luxurious furnishings of this New Zealand icon.
All reservations include a full breakfast daily, valet parking, and complimentary broadband
The hotel is also the home to world renowned Eichardt's Bar, with its comfortable sofas, cosy fireplace and gracious service, is an inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy premium cocktails and some of the areas finest cuisine.
Here, cocktails are served by top New Zealand bar people who put passion into every drink they create. While our chefs serve wonderful meals from fresh and organic produce sourced from the very best growers, farmers, fishers and hunters in the region.

Queenstown is the place to be. Our team are here to make your stay in Queenstown all you want it to be. They can organize scenic flights to Milford Sounds, with glacier landings and boat cruises of the Sounds.
Day hikes in our wonderful forest parks either alone or with a guide it is a wonderful way to enjoy our pristine environment, or you may wish to see it at a slightly faster pace like on a mountain bike.
Known for adventure there is everything you can imagine available, a thrilling jet boat ride, bungy jumping, skydiving, white water rafting and on and on.

If you are a golfer Queenstown is the place to play. Home to the New Zealand Open we have access to some of the most stunning courses you will find in New Zealand. There is a course for everyone in Queenstown or play a different one every day.
If winter is your thing we have some wonderful skiing with four ski fields within 30 minutes to an hour?s drive of the hotel. If you would like a little more excitement then Heli-skiing will take your breath away.
