Fern Motel offers you Family Friendly Kiwi Hospitality. We have 18 ground-floor units with natural surroundings. They all have fully equipped kitchens, ensuite bathrooms, heatpump/aircon & free wireless internet. So that your stay is pleasurable we provide Standard and Deluxe Studios and Family Units –the Deluxe units have been beautifully refurbished with new kitchens with dishwasher (Family Units), flat-screen TV”s, new beds, carpet, linen & modern decor. All units have secure off-street parking and their own private courtyard where you can sit outside or entertain in the BBQ area. You can watch the kids swim in the large pool and play in the children's fenced playground area. Just off the HB Expressway, Fern Motel is conveniently located between Taradale & Napier City, close to Napier Airport, Park Island Sports Complex, Pettigrew Green Arena, Onekawa Aquatic Centre & Church Road and Mission Estate Wineries.

- New and up to date decor
- Traffic Noise. Tight car parks made parking a chore
Thank you for taking the time to review our motel. We are happy that you liked our Units and service. Maybe you did not close the double glazed windows completely for we don't get a lot of people who complain about the traffic noise. If you have a big 4WD it might be a bit of a hassle but normally there are no problems with parking.

- Charge extra for pet
Thank you for posting a review about our accommodation although this time you passed the booking on to relatives. Actually all three times that you booked with us we did not charge anything extra for your pet. We do sometimes charge $15 for extra cleaning costs but it will save you paying boarding kennels (very cheapest $18) and you can have the pleasure of travelling with your beloved pet.
