Fox Glacier is located beside NZ's Largest national park of rainforest, which provides a fantastic range of mountain hikes, wildlife/bird watching, lakes and seaside tracks. We are currently 4 STAR self contained and serviced. We are a family-owned business that invites you to share with us the magic of the wild pioneering South Westland. Our Motel rests under Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, in a peaceful garden location only 400m from the Fox Glacier village. Only a short scroll to the shops, cafes and helicopter and Glacier Guiding operators offices. Mirror Reflection/Lake Matheson car park is only 4 kms form us. Also only 4 kms to Fox Glacier carpark. 5 mins drive to either or hire a bicycle from us and take the slower and more scenic trail will exploring our part of Glacier Country.

Then try MT Fox, at the top amazing views of both the Glacier and Tasman Ocean.
Or head 20 kms to Gillespies Beach. Walk the Seal colony track. Take in the sunset and fell like you own the place.

We are only 21 kms from Franz Josef Glacier Village where you can spend a whole Lotta money and get that adrenaline pumping.
