Lakes Lodge Okataina is situated on the shores of stunning Lake Okataina, just 18 minutes drive from Rotorua International Airport. Surrounded by 4,500 hectares of native bush and wildlife, it is the perfect location for a break away to relax and recharge!!
The drive to Lake Okataina takes you down a tar sealed road through seven kilometres of beautiful native bush. The view upon reaching the lake is one to be remembered!!
We have 28 accommodation rooms at the Lodge, hotel and lodge style. Some are nestled on the edge of the bush, while others have superb views of Lake Okataina! Rooms nestled on the edge of the bush have their own cooking facilities so there is no need to drive anywhere once you have arrived!! Our restaurant is not always open, please phone for information.
Okataina is the perfect place to join a group of friends or family for a weekend away. While at Okataina you can take advantage of some of the stunning walks, go for a stroll on the beach, through the beautiful native.....
