Stay in the gardens of Larnach Castle in a boutique Lodge (qualmarked 4 star guest & hosted)or choose our budget style accommodation and stay at the Stable Stay. Larnach Lodge is a re-creation of a colonial farm building. There are twelve beautiful themed bedrooms with private facilities, each individually decorated. Every room has a splendid view of the ocean 1000 feet below The Stable Stay is in the historic Stables building There are six individual bedrooms (the beds are made up with sheets and warm coverings) each with tea and coffee making facilities. Towels and amenities are provided. There are individual lockable-shared showers and toilet facilities. Both accomodation packages include Bed, Breakfast and entry to the Castle and Gardens for two people. Larnach Castle is located 20 minutes from Dunedin city and is central to the unique wildlife attractions on the Otago Peninsula. Breakfast is available between 8.00am – 9.30am and is included in your room rate. The Castle Café is open daily from 9.

- The view from the 'Sea Room' was amazing. The room was warm and spacious, the bed was comfortable and cozy, the dinner in the castle divine! Perfect!
- Should have stayed longer!
- Take the option of the three-course dinner at the castle! A once-in-a-lifetime experience, delicious food and excellent service. Perfect atmosphere.

- Dinner at the Castle was terrific. The Maitre d' gave a run down of the family history which was quite interesting
- Sharing the bathroom & toilets.
- We did the Family Barn Stay & were lucky to be by ourselves, so had the bathrooms exclusively. Would've been difficult sharing with other families.
