Within Hawke's Bay there is an abundance of activities such as the Art Deco Walks in Napier, The National Aquarium of New Zealand and the largest and most accessible mainland gannet colony in the world at Cape Kidnappers. The Bay offers excellent fly-fishing, hunting and trekking and we are able to offer tutors and guides for these activities. Within a short drive of the Hotel there are five challenging golf courses and we have our own 3 hole practice course. Wonderful wineries to visit in Hawkes Bay are in abundance, to tour and sample the products right at the cellar door.
Mangapapa is honoured to be the only stockists of Ch�teau Waimarama in New Zealand and to be able offer our guests private tours of the winery there and the opportunity to sample the wines straight from the barrel.
