Our Wanganui accommodation is located at the mouth of the South Taranaki Bight on the banks of the Wanganui River. The river is the core of the region as it flows 290 metres from Mt Tongariro into the Wanganui National Park and all the way through the city until it reaches the Bight.

An interesting trail to follow is to the mysterious 'Bridge to Nowhere’; the bridge was original built to give access to an isolated settlement on the opposite side of the Mangapurua Gorge. The village was finally abandoned in 1942, and now only the 'Bridge to Nowhere' remains.
