At Queenstown Country Lodge we offer personalized luxury accommodation and experiences in a relaxed, friendly country atmosphere. As hosts (Amanda and John) we endeavour to combine the warmth and welcome of a country inn with the comfort and class of luxury boutique accommodation. The Lodge offers three beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated spacious ensuite guest rooms located on the upper-floor, each having its own unique panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside of rural Queenstown. The lower floor includes an expansive open-plan lounge and library, separate kitchen and dining areas as well as a large outside living area for al fresco dining and relaxation. Located in the gardens is the five person spa pool. Our Lodge is just 10 minutes from Queenstown and Arrowtown set on five hectares of gardens and farmland, surrounded by the majestic Remarkables and Cadrona mountains. We have a large organic vegetable garden, 700 peony plants and a developing orchard to keep us busy and supply fresh produce for the kitchen.

Well where do we start?

Queenstown is known as he ‘Adventure Capital of the World’. Jet boating, white water rafting, bungy jumping, skydiving, kayaking, river boarding and mountain biking are just some of over 100 outdoor adventure activities to do here.

For those who want to just relax then you could take visit to Milford Sound, go on a scenic flight or cruise on the 100 year old steamship Earnslaw to a high country sheep station to see shearing. There is much to do with local history like walking through the life of the early Maori people, visit the museum with memorabilia from farming and gold mining times or you could be tempted by the world class art on display in the multitude of local art studios dotting the landscape. For others you may want to try the many award wining wines of the area as you are guided by a wine tour company. Again the list just goes on.

Add into the mix a wonderful scenery dominated by majestic mountains such as the Remarkables and lovely Lake Wakatipu, see the changing seasonal colours or just stroll along the many walking tracks in the region, the Queenstown area has something to offer everyone.

Should you be staying with us in winter time, you can also enjoy the five ski fields that are within easy travelling distance from us.
