Westfield shopping centre, the largest in the South Island is directly across the road, which includes HOYTS cinemas & Pak'n'Save supermarket (open unil midnight, 7 days a week). Christchurch city centre, the Casino, Christchurch Hospital, Addington Racecourse, Westpac Stadium, the Railway Station and the Christchurch International Airport/Antarctic Centre are all just 10-15 minutes away. Also the College of Education and Canterbury University are all very close by (5 minutes in a car).
