The Richmond Guest House is a lovely 19th century villa less than 1 km from Courtenay Place and Wellington city has recently been refurbished and has still got many of its original features including beautiful ornate plaster ceilings and cornices and new colonial architraves throughout. We have twelve rooms all with their own ensuite bathrooms There is a communal kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals with a connecting dining room with complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Plus we have a computer set up in the dining room for free internet use and there is free WiFi throughout the building as well, We also have a TV lounge And free laundry use is available. We are a 100% non-smoking site and not suitable for children. We are on the shuttle bus route and within a 10 minute drive to the Airport, Rail, Bus, and Interisland Ferry depot. (Approximately $20 for two from airport and ferry) To quote your host John Cairns, ?We don't claim to be the Hilton?, but if you are travelling.....

- I am 183cm tall and a queensize bed would have suited me better
