Our property is located on Cook Flat Road so we avoid the noise from State Highway 6 that runs through the main town. So no traffic noise or late night bar noise and we are only a short 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Sleep in peace with only the views to keep you awake. While in our little piece of paradise you may wish to take a guided walk on the Fox Glacier, half day or full day walks are available year round. We can book all walks and helicopter flights for you.

Scenic helicopter flights over the Fox Glacier and around Mt Cook are also available close by. They have been voted as one of the 10 things to do before you die!

Also just a short drive away from our gate is Lake Matheson and its reflections of New Zealands two highest peaks.

Gillespies Beach is a historical treasure to South Westland with its rich goldmining history. A short stroll down Gillespies beach will show you the natural wonder of the South Westland area and how much wildlife call this home.
