A beautiful, tranquil, boutique-style GUEST HOUSE retreat located in central Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Taiparoro Mansion is a Heritage Listed property having been built in 1882 and is one of few Heritage Listed buildings remaining in the Tauranga area. Taiparoro Mansion is hosted by Memphis Robson-Frentz who is an artist in residence. It is a quirky and beautifully decorated Guest Home with original artworks on display throughout the home that are available for sale. There are regular Artists workshops held in the Formal Ballroom.
Situated a stones throw from the city centre, yet so quiet and peaceful one would think they were miles away from civilization. Facilities include 2 x Queen Rooms, 1 x Twin Room and 1 X Single Room all with their own ensuites. Facilities include: a large modern kitchen for cooking in, a barbeque area, beautiful gardens, large relaxing dining and lounge areas, large screen TV, internet available.
