There are short walks on the property to points of interest. A popular summertime walk up the Tangiaro Stream and bathing in the large natural waterhole is a must!
Guided nature walks are available.
There are a variety of beaches nearby, from the safe and sheltered Little Sandy and Big Sandy Bays, to Stony Bay and Fletchers Bay in the north.
The Department of Conservation manages and maintains many walking tracks on the Coromandel Peninsula. The popular Coromandel Walkway (3 hours one way) links Stoney Bay to Fletchers Bay. Also when open, you can climb Mount Moehau (890m).
Rock fishing is another popular pastime for the enthusiast. Horse trekking is also available at Colville.
Coromandel Town (1 Hr drive) has many tourist cafes and points of interest to visit.
