Tauhara Sunrise offers three suites, each with fabulous lake views. Chalet d’Amour, as its name suggests, is a private and luxurious cottage built with romance in mind: Dual rain showers, double spa bath, fireplace, sumptuous leather sofa, magnificent audio/visual system – it’s a decadent retreat. The White Cliffs suite is a spacious suite offering a king bed with sumptuous memory foam topper (bed can be split into singles, but when the topper is on, you’d never know). There is room for an additional single bed in this suite as required. The Lake Taupo suite is a smaller suite with queen bed, yet with magnificent views and all the amenities. The White Cliffs suite and the Lake Taupo suite both have access to a large kitchenette stocked with teas, coffees, beers, wines, and a library of DVDs for in-room entertainment.

Feedback is most appreciated. We are very conscious of our pricing, and have not raised our prices in 8 years, despite facing dramatically increased costs. Also of note is that of our more than 70 reviews on a major travel portal, we have not had feedback that indicates our pricing is out of line. We are well suited to those who are looking for something a bit more interactive than a hotel experience - for example we love to share happy hour conversations with guests over complimentary drinks.
