The Clansman Motor Lodge

Set in beautiful, leafy, private grounds, complete with swimming pool and barbeque area, The Clansman Motor Lodge in Hastings offers great accommodation in the heart of Hawkes Bay Wine Country. The Scottish Pub is not to be missed. You will be treated to all the little 'extras' that combine to make your stay memorable, along with a Scottish flavour and personal attention from your hosts, Maree & Leigh Cameron. A Corporate and Golfers favourite, business and private travellers alike will find our units at The Clansman Motor Lodge an ideal base from which to explore Hawkes Bay, with Havelock North, Taradale, and Napier (world famous for it's Art Deco architecture), as well as many fine wineries and tourist activities all within easy driving distance. King, Studio and Family Units all contain 29" flat screen TV's with DVD or Video. We also have High Speed Wireless Internet. Most units have full cooking facilities and the others have microwave, tea/coffee/toast facilities.

  • Warm welcome and personal touches much appreciated
  • Kitchen bench space pretty cramped - could use a small shelf to store crockery and glassware.
  • Good location, and the fish & chip shop around the corner is still as good as ever!

  • the beds were really comfy and the rooms were clean, there was everything we needed for a family.
  • The trains in the night but overall, it was great, not modern, but it really didn't matter.
  • We were at a sporting event at the Hastings sports centre, it was just down the road, so handy, and there was a diary just walking distance away,
