Located in an old stand of native beech on the banks of the Mangawhero River this secluded location is just 8km south of the Ohakune township making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy Mount Ruapehu’s distinctive surroundings and the many activities the region has to offer. Enjoy seasonal fly fishing behind the riverside cottages, a BBQ at the lodge or down by the river shaded by the Beach Trees or just lay back in one of our tree strung hammocks with a book enjoying the serene sounds of the river and views of mighty Mt Ruapehu. For the more adventurous your hosts can assist with the many walks, river activities and attractions the region has on offer. The rustic superbly appointed timber lodge and cottage accommodation provides a luxury hot tub housed in a purpose built gazebo with over 1 hectare of lawns, Gardens and historial Beech bath robes, hair dryers, luxury person products, iron and ironing board in each unit. Cottages come with in room TV and microwaves.
