5-star guest and hosted, enviro-mark gold, the Summit Lodge is en-route between Wellington and Napier. Set in 10 acres and surrounded by farmland guests enjoy quiet and relaxation.
Purpose-built with three super king/twin rooms (each with ensuite and individual heating/ cooling) and guest lounge with home theatre system and wood fire in winter. (Hosts live in separate wing of the lodge). Breakfast included in tariff as is range of teas and coffee and home baking. Microwave and bar fridge available for guest use.
3-couse dinner party style evening meals available on request with 24 hr notice at $60pp, or informal platter for two at $40. Slow cooking and seasonal local produce (much grown on-site), home baking and home-made preserves.
Private patio areas as well as large, sheltered courtyard with 8-seater spa pool (available summer months only). Spray-free vegetables, free range chickens and friendly alpaca herd on-site for feeding and photographs.
