We have 14 fully self-contained historical (since 1883 used as the MAORI affairs department) units ranging from units that can sleep up to 2 persons to our "Lodge" which sleeps up to 14 persons comfortably. Savour the atmosphere of historical, tranquillity and fragrance from the many gardens. Utuhina Lodge has 4 individual pools and Sauna set in exotic surroundings and heated by Rotorua's world famous geothermal hot mineral water. Cook your meat and vegetables in our own sulfur steam hangi for a culinary delight. We are situated only 1.5km from the city centre and even closer to the sparkling waters of Lake Rotorua. We are situated on the banks of the Utuhina Stream, home of the famed Rainbow Trout. Free pick-up and return coaches available for your convenience to any of Rotorua's unique attractions. Close to Hospital and Aquatic Centre Free pick up and drop off to Rotorua international airport.

- No one there when I arrived or departed. Had to ring emergency number and then wait 30 minutes before I was let in

- Location and that 4 adults and 4 children could stay in one building.
- That the building we stayed in was unsafe. The downstairs fire exit was locked and without a key, no smoke alarms, exposed electrical wires taped up!
