Waitomo Lodge Motel opened in March 2008 and we are proud of our 4-Star Plus Qualmark rating. We are located on State Highway 3, at the northern end of Te Kuiti township, opposite Bosco Cafe. Stay with the Waitomo Lodge Motel and have the choice of 14 Studio and 6 One bedroom units. All units have Sky TV, super king sized beds, high-speed broadband internet, tea and coffee making facilities, and spacious ensuite bathrooms. You also have the choice of units with cooking facilities, air conditioning, and spa baths. Stay with us and we promise you won't be disappointed. Additional features include quality fittings, flat screen TV's and black out blinds. There are a few little touches the owners insisted on such as all wool insulation, instant hot water, sound proofing windows and chemical free cleaning systems. We provide a continental and cooked breakfast. Cooked breakfast is available between 7am and 8.30am. Continental breakfast is delivered to your room the evening before. Bosco Café is open for breakfast at 8.

Related options

Local tourist attractions include the Waitomo Caves, Ruakuri Cave, Spellbound Tours, Black Water Rafting, Otorohanga Kiwi House and Taumarunui Jet Boat Tours. All can be booked through Waitomo Lodge reception.

From the Waitomo Lodge in Te Kuiti there are also many easy day trips you can do in your car on good sealed roads. Each unit has a booklet of recommended day trips and boxed lunches can be arranged if required.

For an early morning or after dinner stroll visit Brook Park – across the road – behind Bosco. A section of Brook Park is devoted to conifers. The Barry Blackman collection is reputedly the largest in New Zealand and has been recently re-located to Brook Park.
