- Hosel was really clean and had everything we could need, and very hospitable staff
- Not the fault of the hostel, but a pity the motor way was built along side the hostel.
- Loved the easy access to the walking cycle track!

- a welcome relief from the stormy conditions
- a small amount of flooding due to the storm but was well managed
- stayed quite a few times and for a nice quite YHA it works well
