"Family friendly"
Hotel was great but the concept of Denarau Island isn't. 4 or 5 hotels together to create a tourist enclave. The locals shops which service all the hotels are a rip off. $120 AUD for a bottle of Spirits as an example. Did love our stay though.

"Fantastic honeymoon location "
A great place to visit. Resort is excellent, if a bit pricey. Room was all we could ask for except the shower over the bath leaked big time. Staff were fantastic. :)

"Very relaxing."
Fabulous, friendly staff, who actually took an interest in the guests. Great amenities & heaps to do but many people got ear infections including myself which I think was from the pools. Food was quite expensive Highly recommended Wicked Walu.

"Amazing experience"
We booked 4 nights for our honeymoon. The view was incredible, the staff were delightful, and the food felt like we ate at a top restaurant every night. We had the duluxe bura on the beach which was huge, a 4 nights was a decent amount of time. We could not recommend this place enough!

"Great hotel for families"
The hotel is about 30 years old, but has a very good selection of activities to do on resort, 3 pools, tennis court, putt putt, water sports, restaurants (although the major one was getting renovated during our stay) and "dinner nights" each night cycling through Fijian, Polynesian, fire twirling, hot coal walking events. What makes it, is the resort staff. The Fijians are so lovely, and you can't walk around without swapping a dozen 'bula' with the staff. The main pool has 'Marcel' bw 11-12am, who does aqua aerobics and then 'water basketball' with guys v girls which is hilarious fun. Not to be missed. My only suggestion would be to work out the things that you really want to do, and approach their help desk about how to go about it. They have people who approach you (Mr Mun) and try to sign you up to stuff, which are very expensive, and there are a lot better value activities ex-hotel. We went on a snorkeling trip (Captain cook cruises) and arranged a specific 'horse riding' on the beach event late in the day (to avoid the heat) which were brilliant, which we arranged, rather than doing the spruiked stuff.

"Little Part of Heaven"
For the first time I find it very differcult to really portray the absolute beauty of this very special place. In other reviews people have already told the world of how wonderful the staff really are here. We have been going to Fiji on and off for over 40 years and there are some very special places but the Staff at Nanuku are at the top of the list. One can have complete privacy and family's are also so beautifully looked after and children do nothing but laugh and enjoy their Villa Buddy as he or she cares for them. The food is to die for! Every day something very different and incredibly fresh arrived at our table. We were very spoilt in our accomadation that was given to us and the Villa Mama and Villa Buddie is a beautiful way to be cared for without over doing it. The bed was very very comfortable with lovely linen etc. yes one pays a little bit more than a four Star but if you can and want to be treated as if you are royalty Nanuku Resort is it. I could go on for ever but just thankyou so much Villa Mama Maria and Villa Buddy Solo for your very personal caring. To the rest of the staff keep up the good work and be very proud of yourselves. Thankyou so much for making our holiday so special and we hope we will be back one day soon.
