1. Room had no air con and stank terribly upon arrival #81001 (we did get switched, thanks Christopher) 2. Power outages on and off for one day = no air con in room (we did make our dinner but it was sweltering in the restaurant, poor staff) Toilets at pool bar and Katok restaurant were overflowing. It was disgusting. 3. Wifi went out in our room (worked everywhere else) and each time we called we were either told the whole resort doesn’t have wifi (ie the stupid tourists can’t work their devices (network engineer here) or someone would be to our room in 10 - 15 minutes. No one showed up. I’m sitting out on our balcony where we can get wifi if I stand at the railing. Still waiting for someone to show up - next step a walk to reception to wait until someone physically appears to return to our room with us. 4. Adults only section with a baby in the pool - which of course we had to ask staff before anything was done about. There’s a reason people pay for adult only and we expect staff to honour that arrangement. 5. This is perhaps a 3 star resort, rooms are in need of a redo - taps are loose, water leaks out from the shower into the toilet and main washroom area. Brown gunk is leaking out the air con grates and what passes for furniture / couch is unusable. Grounds are maintained but showing their age,l and wear.

I would give this hotel a 5 out of 5 in cleanliness but unfortunately we saw a cockroach in our room our second night at our hotel.

Sewer backed up a couple times went over the paths, that was pretty gross, power outages every other day, certain staff must have enjoyed stealing items (big group everybody ended up missing something from rooms however not myself) *majority of staff was great* la carte dinner & staff was exceptional. Very calm environment if you’re looking to party I wouldn’t recommend, the buffets also had a large variety and above average.
