Amazing 5 Star Villa
Pros:It's quiet location meant you could really relax & unwind. Stunning grounds and back drop, amenities and friendliness of staff made it very enjoyable
Cons:Could offer a courtesy shuttle 3 times a day to take you in and around Uluwatu

My husband and I stayed at Alila Uluwatu for the last 4 days of our honeymoon. We wanted luxury and somewhere we could sit back and relax and we were not disappointed!! Alila is absolutely amazing. It is a private resort set on the clifftops yet tucked away in the forest. From the moment we checked in, staff were friendly, attentive and happy to help whenever they could, sometimes going above and beyond. The grounds of Alila were phenomenal - tranquil garden areas, beautiful architecture keeping in touch with nature and Balinese tradition - all of which were very peaceful. The main lobby, pool and restaurant area is absolutely stunning - picture perfect and an area with a stunning view.
Our 1 bedroom honeymoon pool villa was amazing!! The layout was great, huge living area and had an amazing pool with cabana - we didn't want to leave this space!! An incredible stay - thank you!

The 2 restaurants are excellent but Uluwatu is far from the other areas of Bali so you do end up eating only at the hotel restaurants during the stay

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
