Aria villas is a beautiful modern contemporary villa which was very private and relaxing to stay in. I loved the view from the room and all the amenities with personal touches like a sarong, slippers and a bag to go shopping with. The rooms were beautifully styled. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. It was still within walking distance to the main centre of Ubud. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful Experience

Pros: Privacy, Pool and tranquility.
Cons: little maintenance needed in some areas.
Location: Great location situated within an easy walk to main street yet far enough away to give you the feeling of being close to nature.
This is a really great Hotel offering unparalleled privacy and a standard not expected. Far enough from the main area to achieve tranquility yet close enough 500m for a casual walk into the main street and just a further 300m to the markets so its ideally located. Our butler Gun was outstanding, so helpful and informative and nothing was a problem and he seriously made our stay 5 star. We would have no hesitation in staying here next time we visit Ubud though it would be more than 3 days.

Great Villas - Private Yet Open

Pros: Beautifully designed villas, open to the flora & fauna of the gorge, yet very private and peaceful. Plunge pool was a great asset.
Cons: A table for breakfast that a little higher, so knees can get under and not bending & stetching to eat. A minor annoyance only......
Location: Close to all the delights of Ubud.
Delightful stay in a thoughtfully designed villa. Staff were friendly and always there when needed. Close to center of Ubud, so an easy walk in & out of town.

Serenity possibly

Pros: Setting. Nearness to Ubud. Staff.
Cons: Management. Security - staff often left our villa gate open after servicing. Privacy - the walls can be seen over by anyone taller than a Balinese.
Location: Great location near to Ubud but away from the traffic and tourists.
These are beautiful villas walking distance from Ubud. The staff are wonderful people. The issue we had is that despite booking one of the better villas for a week of "serenity" (their description) our serenity was severely dented by the owners booking 5 adults up for a weekend trip to a Bali wedding into the family villa next to us. From their on arrival demands of a bigger fridge for their alcohol to their loud music, loud voices and lack of any sense of other guests rights - our serenity turned to disappointment. The villas share walls - in our case not all concrete and only about 2.5m high outside. We may as well have been at their party - but it was not what we were up for or interested in. It felt like Kuta at its worst. Our complaint was answered by asking the "neighbours" to turn it down ... lol From then on the management proved it was pretty much incapable of doing anything about it. Don't run the risk of a bad experience. There are plenty of other places that wouldnt allow this.

We're coming back next year!!

We loved the aria villas in Ubud!! The staff were amazing! So was our massage and the food really pleased us. Perfect place as a home base while you explore amazing Ubud!! Loved having your own private pool for those warm Bali afternoons!!

Fantastic place to stay

Pros: The friendly staff; the private pool, and the mid-afternoon frozen treat :)
Location: Close enough to the centre of town to walk to and from, with all the great stuff of Ubud on offer.
Everything about Aria Villas was excellent. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, but were in no way intrusive. Facilities were great, and the included breakfasts set you up for the day. The location was great, being an easy walk to the centre of town. We chose to extend our stay, which they accommodated at short notice and we were able to arrange a late check-out, again with no problems. A great stress-free place to stay.

contemporary, spacious, private & saltwater pool!!

Excellent buildings & rooms, very comfortable, quiet & private, away from the busy roads but still within walking distance to cafes & shops. Very spacious villas & best part was the saltwater pool! I recommend grtting driven from the villa to go elsewhere as the roads are not pedestrian friendly.

Great villas with lovely staff.

Pros: Beautiful views and the rooms were tastefully decorated.
Cons: Food was nice but pretty basic, however as it was in close proximity to Ubud this wasn't a deal breaker.
Had a lovely stay at Aris villas, the setting and aspect is extremely pleasing, the only downside was noisy neighbours who were next door who certainly impeeded on our ability to relax with the sounds of the forest below. Have to say though that the villa staff were very apologetic and asked them to lower the noice on a couple of occasions. All in all great stay and look forward to noting another stay there in the future so we can enjoy the tranquil settings!

Perfect Relaxation

Pros: Everything, it is beautiful.
Cons: wifi speed
Location: good location, easy walking distance to some very nice restaurants.
We are already thinking about our next stay at Aria Villas. The only thing that we felt was not great was the wifi speed. Everything else was tops.

Great hotel

Stay here but ask for a villa the furthest from reception- I stayed in number 2 which was amazing but not as private as other villas
