This is the place to stay if you want a quiet, relaxed, rustic natural place to stay. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. It was a struggle to get my kids excited to see the sights of ubud as our family didnt want to leave our private pool/villa. The free shuttle bus was a great bonus to get to the city centre(when we did drag them away) Staff were very polite and happy to help in any way they could. Property is not pristinely clean as there is outdoor bathrooms and is in a rural setting and is starting to look a little tired in areas. PROS: Food, setting, ambience, staff, pools, quiet & Free shutttle.

Needs privacy

Pros: The massage at the Spa was great.
Cons: General tidy up of the rooms is needed. Rotten boards on bridges need replacing.
Location: Its a long walk into town, when originally chosen spot on map was much closer to town but once confirmed Wotif moved the pin way down the street.
Given the room that everyone must walk past - no privacy in this room, no window tint, no sheer curtains - everyone can see straight into your entire room. Toilet seat was disgusting and should be thrown out, shower wall not cleaned in a long time. Staff speak english ok but don't understand it. Very difficult to get a basic answers. Room plagued with ants. Mosquito net only there for decoration - has gaping holes when let down. Hole in roof.

The room was average. The bathroom was a nightmare. The bath/ plunge pool was brown, the toilet leaked, didn’t flush and the sink was filthy. We checked out early and will never go back.

Great Hotel with lovely breakfast.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Sapulidi. We were there for 4 nights, we wish it could have been longer. We had a room with an amazing view overlooking the rice fields. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely, very clean. The breakfast is just amazing, if I'm honest it was probably my partner's favourite part of the trip. We had fresh juice, fresh fruit, pastries and pancakes! And then they have us menus to order a main?! We thought we were dreaming. Options included Indonesian and Western meals. Both were pretty good. The only downside is there are a few mosquitos but that is to be expected in Ubud. Hotel provided us with mosquito spray for the room which was very thoughtful. The room also came with mosquito nets. Open air toilets are very cool too! Still felt very private. We can't wait to come back!

Relaxing, serene and peaceful

Pros: The location, the staff.
Cons: Hotel needs some renovation. The restaurant food poor, ate there once and not again, breakfast good. The hotel provide more information on services
Location: The hotel is on the outskirts of Ubud, a little too much to walk so I was reliant on the hotel shuttle.
The hotel site is beautiful, serene and relaxing. The hotel looks tired, needs some money and love put back into the property. Some of this would up its rating to 5 star. Staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was an effort for them.

relaxing oasis

such a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy Ubud. we had a plunge pool at out Villa, and looked out over the rice field, and the occasional cow

Be careful of the private plunge pool

The hotel is in a lovely setting and the rooms are huge the problem is the private pool is about 1.5m deep with no steps to get out, so unless you have strong upper body you can't get out, I ended up with a huge bruise trying to get out. Breakfast was good but dinner was terrible . The main pool was lovely but don't expect to lay around drinking cocktails as there is no bar at all in the hotel .
