The restaurant downstairs also provided high quality and tasty food.
I look forward to coming back here again the in the future.

We will definitely stay again -it has such charm. We loved sitting on the balcony with local fish and chips and sleeping in one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and anyone can have a breakdown, the hot water didn’t really inconvenience us! We will come back!

Very impersonal. No one to meet you. Self check in with key left in an envelope at front desk. Front door key pad not working, guests locked out. Very hot and stuffy room being a hot day. Fan in room broken and not working. Contacted owner by phone and told her we were paying too much for a room where BASIC amenities were not working. I was given instructions to obtain replacement fan from cleaners’ store room - replacement fan was 1000 fold more decrepit than the first!!! Both fans fell apart!!!! Very disappointed with owner’s unsympathetic response regarding broken fan and sounded annoyed that I was inconveniencing her at 9.30pm. I was told that she could not come out as it was out of hours and advised to open balcony windows to get ocean breeze. Being late at night this attracted mosquitoes, flies and felt unsafe as balcony was accessible to all guests and visitors!

We apologise for not sending someone after hours which would have incurred a callOut fee as fan just needed to be tightened and turned on. Many phone calls and going around and locking doors meant other guests were disturbed and locked out We ended up going to the hotel at 10pm to let in a guest that had been locked out as a result of you going around and locking all doors 136 for the grand king room in this current climate is an excellent rate The beautiful Seabreeze wafting through the windows would have been a wonderful alternative as the cool change came through at 5pm and temperatures plummeted- that’s Victorian weather for you We suggest 5 star hotels with high security and air conditioning would be perfect for your future getaways
