Absolute paradise!

The setting for this hotel is just gorgeous. Away from the hustle of town, it's quiet and surrounded by rice fields and Bali jungle. The rooms were lovely and clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Lastly, the pool is gorgeous and a blissful place to unwind.

Pros: Being in the jungle at night
Cons: Location; There is only one free shuttle into town which is terrible. Food and drinks are expensive and there is no local shop nearby.
Location: Well out of he way
Facilities: Tired, Nothing special, Ordinary; Value: Uneconomical, Over-priced, Could be better; Service: Inoffensive, Sufficient, Polite; Cleanliness: Hygienic , Tidy; The TV and DVD player in our room was so old and noisy it was painful to have it turned on. When I mentioned to the management, they just laughed.

Pros: There's a 4 seater rail car that take you down through the jungle to a spring water river :)

Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Amazing; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Beautiful; It's really quiet, and it feels like you're with family from the moment you arrive. The staff we're quite bashful ;) a lovely traditional experience.

Pros: The location, the view, the spa and the rainforest river.
Cons: The restaurant is average for the price, and there's not much else around.

Pros: Beautiful views from the rooms
Cons: Limited access to town with only 1 shuttle bus in the morning and the afternoon. Would have been better with an extra shuttle at night time.

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
