Excellent hotel with good pool and quiet ambiance

Pros: We enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Puerto Morelos is a charming seaside village, the way I remember Mexico
Cons: Meal prices high in the hotel
Location: Go to Chitzen Itza and into Puerto Morelos market on Saturday night.
We enjoyed our stay here very very much. It was spring break, yet quiet and not many students were staying at the hotel. Staff and service are to be commended. Very friendly and helpful and lots of little touches, like the Mexican ceramics left at night and the gift on arrival. We also thought the master and junior suites were really well appointed and extremely spacious. This is a special hotel and you won't be disappointed is you want a quiet holiday. But if you want night life this is not the place to stay.
