Beautiful, family-run cave hotel with a view
Pros:The room was great
The food was great
The view was great
Cons:The bathroom often had a strange smell possibly because of their water. When we turned on the spa it was rather off-putting.
Location:It is about a 5 minute walk to town, downhill. The walk back is a bit harder!
We loved our two night stay at Maccan. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so we were invited to relax in the dining room. The view was lovely and it was so nice and warm in the sun. The hotel also has a roof top terrace. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff work so hard at keeping it looking amazing. The turkish breakfast was great.Typically Turkish but with lots of variety. We dined at the restaurant both nights for dinner and was very impressed. You are given beautiful fresh bread and dips before your meal and a complimentary tea afterwards. The food was beautiful and the main chef lady in the kitchen works very hard, all day and night cooking! Would definitely recommend.
