Really beautiful property in the heart of district 1. The staff were lovely and attentive, always ready to help with a simile. Room was very clean and well fitted out, was not a fan of the shower curtain in the bathroom. Although a wonderful hot and powerful shower, it felt cramped because of the curtain sticking to you.
Breakfast had lots of options if you're happy to eat local food, but was disappointed by the lack of good quality pastries (we ended up finding a great bakery round the corner and had breakfast there for the last few mornings).
Pool area is super small, but big enough for the number of people wanting to use the area at any given time.
We stayed at Au Lac a full week and really enjoyed our stay.
