Large rooms provide space to have the suitcases open. Rooms in good condition. Air conditioning worked well. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Restaurant for breakfast good. Swimming pool area nice. Some public areas including pool need refurbishment to bring it back to magnificent. The hotel has just undergone a name change in the last few weeks and new management/ownership may inject some cash into bringing the finish of this hotel back to pristine. Convenient to airport (13 minutes) same to Dubai Mall. Handy to train stations but taxis are so cheap it is easier and economical to catch a cab.
