Staying at Barefoot Manta was the highlight of our trip to Fiji. Absolute beachfront accommodation, amazing snorkelling and very friendly staff.

Snorkeling Paradise

Pros: Simple tropical layout with friendly staff
Cons: Food could be better
Location: Snorkeling and diving - awesome
Lots of beautiful fish and coral to explore with direct access from the resort beach.

Amazing accommodation! Right next to the beach. The staff were incredible and so very helpful. The food available was great, and there was so much to do at the resort. I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

A true paradise

Barefoot Manta is a superb place to stay for those who want to truly relax. We were welcomed and farewelled with singing, which were warm and genuine. The staff were fantastic. While the food was simple, it was filling. The beach was absolutely magnificent. There isn't alot to do on the island but, hey, you're on an amazing tropical island, which is the main reason for visiting the Yasawas. We highly recommend Barefoot Manta.

The best place to stay in Fiji!

We stayed in the beachfront with ensuite and the whole front side opened up so we could see the waves from our bed. We could snorkel and dive straight off the beach and the reefs were spectacular as they are protected and the couple running the dive shop are doing several conservation projects on the reef as well as on the island. The staff were so friendly, remembering us by name. The food was beautiful and fresh and there was plenty of it. There were lots of different activities throughout the day including volley ball and games at night. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Overpriced and uncomfortable

The bed was so uncomfortable that I had to lay towels on top of it so the springs wouldn't dig into my back. The food was below average. The snorkelling is amazing and the staff are friendly, I would highly recommend going further north to coconut beach resort or paradise cove resort.
