We had a great stay at this resort. It is an older property and some of the furnishings are a little worn, however you would expect this for the price point. We had an amazing housekeeper who looked after our villa to a very high standard. We did notice on the day she had off the lady replacing her didn’t do the little touches of flowers on our beds. The wait staff were inconsistent in their approach, most were extremely friendly and gave you the Fijians way of friendliness. The spa was professional and the massages were well worth it. The added bonus of the kitchenette and washing machine and drier were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
Tip: if you want softdrink to go with your duty free alcohol get it on the way or go to the marina next door.

This place was absolute paradise to us as guests. We did have a beachfront accommodation with a pool so that made ut picture perfect. Loved it every minute. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely will cone back id i get the chance.

The staff were excellent and the location on the mainland between Nadi and Lautoka meant that there were multiple opportunities to not only experience resort style living but also visit markets, gardens and mud baths and only be an hour from Denerau for golf and sailing.

We stayed as a family of 4 2x adults and 2 young kids! I highly recommend this place nice beach, amazing kids club & amazing staff in general! Will definitely return next trip..

Stayed in the Royal beachfront villa for the week. Was fantastic. So peaceful and relaxing. All the staff were so friendly and caring. The food was delicious, and so many options. Will be back.

This resort is an awesome place to stay, staff and service is top notch. We ( 2 adults & 2 children) stayed in an ocean view spa bure, the views did not disappoint, looking out across the sea to the outer islands was amazing.
Only downside was there was no transport like buses or a resort shuttle available to go anywhere, taxis were a bit on the expensive side, and only 1 other restaurant in walking distance nearby other than the amazing resort restaurant. We eneded up hiring a car for a few days so we could get out and look around Fiji.
This is the place to go for and relaxing chilled out hoilday with awesome views.

Seems overly expensive for what it offers
Pros. Most staff friendly
The setting is superb, don't be put off of the terrible roads going in
Decore in our Bure was typically Fijian, warm and welcoming.
Cons,
Some staff have difficulty understanding English so you not always get what you asked for.
The reading light on one side of the bed blown, not the first time it appears as it has large screws holding in the led fitting which has a tilt function but you can only tilt it left to right so it lights up the wall behind you. Useless if it did actually work
Wife went fof a swim at 11am, no towels available. "In the dryer " she said so only a dozen towels?
Catch of the day looked good but the fish was overcooked and dry. Our empty food plates were just left on the table despite staff walking past
Shame. For $400 a night you expect better.

Sadly this property is in very poor shape, it needs a major overhaul! Looks like it’s never had a renovation since it was built in 1995. But what it does have is nice staff, nice quiet location near the waters edge. Shady with nice views and unpretentious. An old favourite that attracts locals and business people. I look forward to staying there again, if it get renovated.
