Pros: Clean rooms, service wonderful a delight to be there
Cons: Cost of food and drinks very expensive
Location: Short drive from the airport organized activities daily beach, pools, spa and games room for children
Loved this resort from the minute we pulled up at the entrance. We stayed at Club InterContinental the room was devine, spaceous with mini bar and our own plunge pool. Very large resort on a beautiful beach loved the infinity pool and that it was for adults only as was Navo for breakfast. We would stay here again. The only negative is the cost of the food and drinks if you had a family it was cost you a lot of money to feed them here. Overall a beautiful resort and very friendly staff.

Bad experience

Checked in to two dirty rooms, staff around the pool are lazy, you always have to go looking for them to order something, not something you would expect at a 5 star resort. Limited dining options and food way overpriced for very average meals. Nice beach and grounds but that’s about where it stops unfortunately

Pros: Everything
Cons: I really can't fault this resort
Location: Location was close enough to airport, one of the best beaches on the island. Close enough to do tours etc.
Amazing Resort, truly was a beautiful resort, staff were great, rooms lovely, very clean and the adult pool over looking the ocean was heaven. Could of just stay in the resort the whole trip as there is plenty to do, food was very nice. Great place to unwind.

Beautiful, friendly but left hungry...

We stayed at the Intercontinental for the first week of our honeymoon. First impressions were fantastic, wonderful warm "Bula" welcome from the staff, beautiful location and excellent view from our beach front room. There are free non-motorized water sports and those that were charged were very reasonably priced. I can't stress enough how amazing the staff are, they are the greatest asset for this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they always responded well to any issues we raised. But.. With the exception of Navo (the fine dining restaurant) the quality and variety of food is below par. We stayed for six nights and can honestly say we only really enjoyed 2 lunches and 1 or 2 dinners. For such a remote resort where there really isn't anywhere else to go, the choice on the menu is very limited, very little fresh regional cuisine and what there was (even the really simple stuff) was really poorly executed (bland, overcooked, inedible and caused diarrhea.) When asked, the waiting stuff said they wouldn't eat the food they were serving! The cost is what you expect to pay at a 5* resort but the quality definitely isn't. They also kept running out of things - coconuts, watermelon and when we went to Navo I ordered the only rose on the menu that comes by glass and they didn't have it (there are very few wines offered by the glass.) With such poor food on offer and so little alternative to eating at the hotel nearby, we sadly won't be returning.

Amazing resort with first class facilities.

Pros: The staff were a standout nothing was ever to much trouble for them. The aspect and the fact it was on the Coral Coast , beautiful lagoon and beachfro

Location: Location was quite a distance from the airport. This was a negative for us when deciding where to stay. However the resort's ambience did not disappoi
We would definitely return to this 5 star resort. Staff could not do enough for you and were wonderful and considerate of our grandchild. All eating areas provided entertainment for adults and children Bula bus drivers were polite and friendly. Staff would call for bus and it turned up within a couple of minutes. Service in bars was at times slow , however we were in Fiji time and staff were friendly and helpful. Resort pools were amazing accomodating both adults and children. Organised activities were well run most of the time. I did however feel that food , drinks and Ice Cream prices were exceptionally high at this resort considering the resort was the only option to purchase food items.

Best resort ever

Every resort staff was smiling and just simply genuine and full of love to us and especially to my 19 month daughter. We were often given free food for my daughter as well. If you like diving, then this is the best spot. Full of visibility and plenty of coral and fish, just off the main beach, and rays, sharks and turtles a few minutes out on the boat. Food was yum and great atmosphere.

Spacious resort

Beautiful beach and spacious resort. You don't feel like it's busy when it actually is. We stayed at the Club. Great service from everyone. Fabulous room with balcony and bath on it. High tea and canapes were certainly a bonus together with free cocktails for 2 hrs a day. Will definitely be back again.

Booked 5 nights family holiday we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, an issue came up with my son's passport and we were unable to travel on the day. While we were aware that refund might not be possible, I spoke to the reservations manager and asked if we could get some/partial credit towards future stay. While kind and promising when speaking on the phone, a few days later an email came back saying they couldn't do anything. So disappointing, especially as we would have spent at least twice as much while at the resort, and would have been happy to have gotten some funds credited towards future booking!!! Will avoid all INTERCONTINENTAL hotels from now on.

Relaxing family time

Pros: The gardens and the architecture created an exotic location, but the staff made it an enjoyable holiday.
Cons: Our room had a clothes horse on the balcony for drying wet swimmers, which was great, but some clothes pegs would have been useful.
Location: We loafed around at the resort the whole time and read, swam, talked, and played bananagrams. Two of us did a diving qualification at the resort.
We have just returned from 9 nights at the Fiji Intercontinental Golf Course and Spa, which is about an hour’s drive from Nadi airport. We stayed at the Club Intercontinental where we were well looked after. Breakfast in the club lounge looking over the pool was relaxing and pleasant. There wasn't as much choice as at the main restaurant but there was more than enough. The staff at the Club really made our stay memorable. I don’t want to single anyone out because the people we had most contact with were the wait staff, and in reality there is a huge team of people from the man cleaning the pool early in the morning, to the gardeners, the drivers, cleaners etc. all of whose work goes towards the whole experience being perfect for exhausted people in need of a holiday. Our group was a middle-aged couple and 2 university student children. We were looking for a relaxing holiday to celebrate the end of a big year and to catch up as a family and this was a great place to do it. The resort is very attractive. The architecture is complemented by fabulous gardens. The pools are clean and well kept. We mainly used the club pool as it was so close, but a couple of times we went down before breakfast to the infinity pool in the main part of the resort. At night gas flames shoot into the air from stone pillars around the main building and give it an exotic flavour, a bit like a set from ‘Survivor’.
