Walkable to the city area, but the surrounds are very uninteresting and ordinary. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and the room was very comfortable.

4 Stars? Definitely not! To be avoided.

Pros: Reasonably short walk to central rail station.
Cons: Allow guests to use the A/C and re-install the bar fridges. Upgrade the beds.
Location: Average area, no good restaurants close, nearest about a 15 minute walk. Lot of choice around central station.
4 Star? I think not. Arrived 13:15, told 14:00 or earlier for a room. At 14:45 asked for a room or refund, given room. Noted bar fridge had been removed, no A/C remote. Requested a remote, not available. Requested a room with A/C, told none of the A/C units worked, and I should open the window! (This was simply a cost saving measure implemented by management I believe as the staff were clearly embarrassed, and obviously we were not the only guests complaining.) Except this hotel is located in between two busy three lane roads, the noise was terrible. Contacted Wotif, they were unable to secure a refund. The room faced west which added to the heat. We constantly got up during the night, opened the windows for cool fresh air, then were forced to close again due to the noise. The room fittings were of a poor quality, and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Never encountered a "4 Star" hotel without A/C before. I would rate it between 1 & 2 Stars at best, but would not recommend staying here.
